DeOliveira has been playing with colors his whole life. Working primarily with acrylics, his paintings reflect the innermost depths of his thoughts. Through a maze of textures and colors, the artist aims to take the viewer to a more meditative state of mind. Fernando currently works from his studio in the SoWa Arts District of Boston, MA. He would love to have more time to paint, and simply doesn’t have enough time to make all the paintings he envisions in his mind’s eye. His current series will premier in a New York Gallery and Brazil. Says Fernando of his frame of mind, “I’m in a good place right now. I’ve spent most of my life chasing [what’s] ‘next.’ It is time for me to just relax and enjoy.”
